Designing For

A Positive Enviroment

Growing up in a lower income never remodeled 1000 sf house built in a 40s with 6 of us, a great deal of clutter, and at least 4 pets at any given time compared to where I am now has given me great perspective on what a home NEEDS for it to be a positive environment.

Now, I don’t mean material things but I do mean balance, harmony, good feng shui, lack of unnecessary clutter, proper scale, utilization of color psychology, and HIGH FUNCTIONALITY. These things can make or break a space, and they affect us internally whether we choose to see it or not. Poor design can cause unnecessary stress to a person and stress bleeds into every aspect of our lives. Good Interior Design can be HEALING. That being said, I have always known that I have wanted to use this gift and talent God has given me to help others experience healing.

Come Home With Eclectic

Come Home with Eclectic is a mission to use our skills to make the world a little brighter for someone in need. We will be taking on one pro bono client a year for a room design and/or decorating project to help someone who needs good design and a little bit extra healing in their life. Whether it is someone dealing with physical, mental, or emotional struggles, we want to help.

But to do this we need YOUR help! We need help finding deserving individuals and families, as well as funding for materials for this passion project. Have questions? Want to get involved? Keep Reading…
